I am having a great difficulty in spending 8 hours in the office, for the last 10 years i was the first one to arrive and last one to leave types but in last 4 months i have changed into last one to arrive and first one to leave. Some of my Symptoms are:
1. I find my boss Incompetent.
2. I find my subordinates are good for nothing.
3. I feel the systems and procedures we follow in the company are highly non professional.
4. I feel my career has come to a dead end.
5. This job is not what i was promised.
6. The other department heads have negative responsibility and workload compared to me within our company.
Can anyone do a diognosis based on above symptoms?
P.S: Cannot afford to quit this job unless i find a better one.

RIP: I have no problem with the bunch of people i have found over the years but they are not around is the problem.

I kind of identify with your problem. But having done a hop skip jump quite a few times I thinks Ghetu's is the best bet for you.
By the way, if you find a solution to deal with it do pass it on to me.

thanks for dropping by kaushik, i guess i have found the solution. I will work harder here and agressively start looking for a the "right job" even if the job would not be what i expect i will settle down for a huge salary.
rip: in most cases they are on the top of same wall specially if you climb the ladder of money to reach the top of the wall.

Rip: I cant believe this. You read these self help book. :o) Just joking mate. Yeah it is a good book. But in the realm of fantasy. What you say makes sense but not for me or may be for Vikas. Its just that there are too many options before us.

but.. the theme is relevent...you know,..the leading character in this book ( an extremely successful lawyer) stops to 'think'..only when he gets a heart attack because of his 'successful' lifestyle.!
