I do not have words to describe you badi maa, I have never seen a lady who can give so much love and care.
I will always regret for not being there in your last moments. Wish i could have apologized for few things and expressed few things as well.
Now i realise that the "bers" , the "kharbujas", the "gajar ka halwa" and a simple plain "roti" will never be same.
You will be missed badly badi maa and may god bless your soul.

Your Badi ma is the ubiquitous badi maa of each one of us.
I have a few memories of my 'thamma' (father's side) but am fortunate to have my 'Dida' still around.
With them so many things pass into oblivion. So many menus, so many stitching stiles, so many quick fix solutions for so many medical ailments.
Wish we could all capture them during their lifetime. But unfortunately like my 'Thamma' my 'Dida' cannot read or write.
dear vikas, your badi maa says hi! to you.
she says she used to miss you..a lot..
but.. she doesn't miss you anymore, because... where she is now..she can see you all the time...and distance does not matter... she is really happy..
she says, she doesn't need your apologies at all...because.. she has your love..
'would you like him to remember you often?'...i had asked, like a fool... she laughed and said..'oye puttar..do you ever 'remember' to breathe?..'
.. she thinks at present you are in a
state of unrest... and wishes the same thing to you...
..'may your soul rest in peace'...
Thanks guardian angel, i do feel better.
Kaushik: we can only wish, isn't it humbling.
when did this happen?
She had a massive stroke on sunday, its just a matter of pulling the plug now.
dear vikas, extremely sorry to hear about your dadi maa..Lets hope for the best..i guess all we can do is pray...
