This post was meant to be a comment on scouts post but then i thought it is getting too eccentric to be on anyone's blog so i have put it in mine:
yawn...why does everyone want to connect? why live in past? why are you guys afraid of moving on? I have 4-5 people in my life and i stay in touch with them through whatever means. I dont need to stay in touch with people from past/recentpast/present who are other than those 4-5 . I dont care if they are lost in the sands of time, may be it was meant to be. I dont have tension in any of my relationships cos whoever i felt had a possibility of giving tension/grief has been shunned. Move on get out of that past tense in your life, meet new people( and forget them quickly as well), may be the past is not letting you be what you are and you are getting bogged down by this image you/others have of you. FIND yourself and stop looking back.
This is not directed at any individual but i have noticed that majority of people in the blogging world make simple things very complicated like internet... it is a bloody medium to have fun THATS IT . I believe people who take time out to do something on internet(apart from professional work) are losers and need help.

Vikas: I dont agree to the whole thought of this post. It seems very convulated. I can understand when u say that some bloggers make simple things complicated.
I dont think you realise the impact of internet or mobile in the way it shapes relationships. Today I was watching Ijaazat. Naseer wants to trace his girlfriend he uses the phone and she is not in her house. Imagine what if it was today.
Issue is not about good or bad, better or worse. Issue is about the difference and the dimension and thereby the complexity. And for me it is as amazing as it was without internet.
i guess u have a point vikas. i guess we bloggers do tend to complicate things, but at least it makes life more interesting ;) apart from the last line of your post i agree with everything you said, loser ;)
you mouse potatoes!!! get away from the damn pc, and go out. there are lots of interesting things to do.
